Draft — to be reviewed by a solicitor before Kallo is sold. Kallo is currently a free private beta.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] of [ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”), the operator of Kallo. They cover the Kallo desktop app for macOS, the website at getkallo.com and any related services (together, “Kallo”). By installing or using Kallo you agree to them. If you use Kallo for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

1. What Kallo is

Kallo is a desktop app that helps you plan, create, adapt and schedule short-form content (such as short videos, slideshows and captions) for social media accounts you control. It uses artificial intelligence to suggest and produce drafts. Kallo does not publish anything without your approval: you review each draft and decide whether it is sent to a platform.

Kallo runs on your Mac. Your media, drafts and settings are stored on your computer. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Kallo is intended for businesses and individuals promoting their own work. It is not for children.

During the private beta, access is by invitation. We may decide who to invite and may limit or withdraw beta access.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Kallo on Macs you own or control, for your own business or personal purposes, while you follow these terms.

You must not: copy, sell, rent or sublicense Kallo; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction; remove notices of ownership; or use Kallo to build a competing product. Kallo, its design and its software remain ours (or our licensors’). No rights are granted except those set out here.

4. Your content and what you publish

You keep all rights in the material you bring to Kallo (such as your logos, photos, footage, notes and brand guidelines) and in the drafts Kallo produces for you, to the extent those rights exist. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not receive a copy of it, because it stays on your Mac.

You are the publisher. You are solely responsible for everything you approve and publish using Kallo, including making sure that it:

5. Third-party platforms

Kallo lets you connect accounts on third-party platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X, using each platform’s official sign-in (OAuth) and posting interfaces. Those platforms are run by other companies. Your use of them is governed by their terms, not ours, and we are not responsible for their services, availability, decisions (for example, removing a post or restricting an account) or changes to their interfaces.

Kallo only acts on a connected account in the ways you approve, and only within the permissions you grant. You can disconnect any platform in Kallo and revoke access in the platform’s own settings at any time — see Data deletion. Kallo is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by TikTok, Meta, Google or X.

6. AI-generated content

Kallo uses AI models to suggest ideas and produce scripts, captions, images, voices and videos. AI output can be wrong, repetitive, unexpectedly similar to existing material, or unsuitable. It may not reflect facts about your business. You must review every draft before approving it, and you must not rely on Kallo’s output as professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

Some platforms require content that is realistic and made or significantly altered with AI to be labelled. You are responsible for applying any labels or disclosures a platform or the law requires. We do not guarantee that any draft will perform well, reach an audience or be accepted by a platform.

7. Your AI provider

Kallo works with an AI provider account that you choose and control — for example your own Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI subscription or API key. Your use of that provider is governed by its terms and any charges it makes are between you and the provider. Kallo sends the provider what it needs to generate your drafts, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Kallo to:

We may suspend or end your access if we reasonably believe you have broken this section.

9. Beta, no warranty

Kallo is in private beta. It is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. Features may change, break or be removed, and it may contain bugs. Keep your own copies of anything important. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms not expressly set out in these terms, including implied terms of satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to that, we are not liable for: loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data; indirect or consequential loss; content you publish or the reaction to it; actions taken by third-party platforms or AI providers; or losses caused by your breach of these terms.

Subject to the paragraphs above, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with Kallo, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Kallo in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) £100.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Kallo at any time by disconnecting your platforms, deleting the app and its data from your Mac, and (if you like) asking us to delete anything we hold about you — see Data deletion.

We may suspend or end your access, or end the beta, at any time. Where reasonable we will give notice. When these terms end, your licence ends and you must stop using Kallo. Sections 4, 6, 9, 10 and 13 continue to apply.

12. Changes

We may update these terms, for example when Kallo leaves beta or starts charging. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Kallo after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. We will not start charging you without asking you first.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem informally.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still do so later. These terms are the whole agreement between us about Kallo. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours to a business that takes over Kallo.
